Estimates and quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are subject to change following site inspection
or unforeseen requirements. Any variations to the quoted work will be discussed and agreed upon in writing before
additional work is undertaken.
-
To schedule work, confirmation must be made in writing or via email. For domestic jobs or single-day bookings, we
require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee of £75.
Multi-day bookings or contract site visits require at least 7 days' notice to cancel or reschedule, and late notice may
result in charges to recover reserved labour or materials. If we arrive and cannot gain access or the site is deemed
unsafe, the full call-out fee may apply.
-
You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the site, and that all necessary utilities (water, gas, electricity) are
available where applicable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel work where conditions are unsafe or access is
obstructed. All site risks must be disclosed prior to commencement of work.
-
We use high-quality, approved materials compliant with UK regulations. Materials remain the property of STOTT

Payment terms will be outlined in your invoice. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. We reserve
the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act
1998. Retention terms or staged payments for contract work must be agreed upon in advance.

We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion, subject to proper use and maintenance.
Manufacturer warranties apply to any materials or appliances installed. We are not liable for issues caused by misuse,
third-party interference, or pre-existing faults unless agreed otherwise. Our total liability shall not exceed the contract
value, except where required by law.
-
We carry full public liability insurance. All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. Relevant certificates
will be issued upon completion where applicable (e.g. Gas Safety Certificates, Building Regulation Compliance
Certificates).
